We have been involved in working with event management companies to develop solutions to specific problems they face with opening or closing ceremonies, staging or finishing areas or other particular problems faced by large international events.

• At the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, we provided a complex coloured mat that provided organisers with a mat that achieved a certain look, as well as protecting the arena surface from forces applied from large-scale human movement as well as the impact of horses hooves.  There was a lot of effort applied to the trial process to ensure the performance level achieved allowed organisers to marry the opening ceremony seamlessly into the track and field events on Day 1.
   
• At the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, we supplied specifically dimensioned and coloured ground mats as staging and finishing areas.  The solutions allowed competitors to manage transition areas (like the triathlon areas) safely and easily, as well as providing a colourful finishing line area that enhanced the media coverage of the finishing areas.
